So I'm not the handiest person but I have built a dozen items over the years from IKEA. Perhaps was out of practice but I did find building this a bit of a challenge but here are some tips. Not being one great on my knees at my age, I built it on my bed and that worked very well. As for the cam locks, I was first trying to have them inserted into the holes already when inserting the attaching piece with the screws, thinking they had to be there already per the assembly pic. And that just wasn't working well when you have multiple ones going in at the same time. Turns out that it is much easier to position and slide in the cam locks one by one when you have inserted the connecting pieces. The steps should be numbered within each instruction! I also then used some masking tape just to make sure the cam locks weren't able to turn as I jostled the pieces around to get to all of the areas. Once I started doing that, my assembly went much more smoothly. And there was one missing predrilled hole for a screw but that wasn't a big deal. I LOVE the assembled product. Such as huge upgrade over my old wire frame hamper. I love how this is a very nice piece of furniture. I am going to put a double drawer on top of it for extra storage in my bedroom and that will still provide a nice top area at a nice height. I am very impressed with the quality and look of this item and ordered a bathroom wall cabinet from the same brand now that I have done this. Recommend this as a tremendous upgrade that is very nice piece of furniture compared to what most folks probably have for a hamper!
