High absorbency - linen is able to absorb a phenomenal amount of water for its weight. So a linen towel will get you drier, quicker. This is great if your kids come shivering out of the pool and need to get dry quickly. Linen is also beneficial for people with sensitive skin as you don't need to rub as much as with other fabrics.

Lightweight - our linen towels are lightweight yet Super effective. This makes them perfect for packing for a trip to the beach, pool or gym. No more bulky Cotton towels that take up your whole bag and weigh you down when they are wet.

Fast drying - not only will a linen towel absorb more water than a cotton terry towel, It will shed it faster too. Which means that you can say goodbye to soggy morning-after towels, and instead pack up your freshly dried linen towel. Great for HOLIDAYS, when you are in and out of the water, or showering and heading out for an adventure.

Got this to use sometimes instead of a microfiber towel for travel & I'm very happy with it for that purpose.Unlike microfiber travel towels, that tend to be a lot smaller than bath towels, I can actually wrap this around me and walk around a locker room or hostel without flashing anyone. It also dries VERY FAST-- much faster than regular or microfiber towels. One night, I used it dry as a layer on my bed in a chilly camping cabin.Best of all, I can roll it up to the same size as my Nomadix travel towel. The biggest disadvantage is that it is nowhere near as absorbant as a microfiber or loopweave towel-- maybe half as much. I may start traveling with a bamboo towel hair turban that I use at home-- the two towels will take the same space as my microfiber travel towel+a pair of socks. This is the second towel I have purchased from LinenMe. I bought an identical one last year.AbsorbancyWhat it may lack in size it makes up for in absorbancy! This little towel wicks away moisture from my skin and my long hair quickly! Great when I'm in a rush to get ready!Drying timeThese linen towels are superb! We live in a very hot and humid climate and terrycloth towels mildew because they can't dry fast enough in our interior bathroom. These linen towels dry in a fraction of the time with zero mildew or odor! My toddler loves to splash in the tub and I bought the hand towel to soak up the water on the tile floor. Dripping wet, the towel still dries faster then the damp terry cloth bath mat I have!SoftnessThey are a little scratchy to begin with, but after washing and drying several times, they are quite soft. I use my older linen towel on my toddler because it's a bit softer than the new one.SizeIt's large enough to wrap around an average-sized adult.ColorfastnessI wash my linen towels in warm water with a color catcher for the first few washes just to be safe. A very small amount of the black dye was picked up by the color catcher but didn't bleed onto the rest of the towel itself. Now I wash my towels and white sheets together with no bleeding onto the color catcher or other items in the wash.I highly recommend this product!I own a lot of linen from tea towels to panties to bedding. I guess I am an addict. What does a chocoholic love better than finding perfect Belgian Chocolate?Every time I buy linen, I launder it to get rid of the stiffness before using it. I didn't need to with these towels. They were deliciously cozy and soft right out of the plastic. The size is also substantial for the price--that is if you are shopping for linen towels, not cotton. Yes, linen costs more than cotton, but as a linen lover, I say it's completely worth it. Linen is highly absorbent, naturally antimicrobial, and lasts far longer than cotton. It's a better quality fabric that is also much more time consuming to produce while generally being better for the environment than cotton. This all boils down to preference, but I paid $30 a towel for these and then the price raised to $50 per towel. I'd pay the higher price and not because I have money to burn; they are worth it.The colors are gorgeous. It's an earth and sky sort of mixture or for a linen freak, earth and blooming flax flowers. The natural linen is cross-woven through the blue, which is just beautiful. It's too bad they don't have a close-up of the weave. It is very pretty. The weight of these towels is comparable to their "Lara" dish towels or fairly substantial. I guess they could have gone thicker but they'd have lost any sort of fluidity to the drape and felt and looked awkward. But I can give my opinion all day; LinenMe's website sells this fabric and calls it 280 grams per square meter. If you aren't familiar with linen weights, you may be able to take that number to a fabric store (that actually sells linen) and get an idea of the fabric weight before committing to the purchase.I highly recommend these towels. I see no problems with fabric quality, stitching, value for money or anything else. I plan to purchase everything that LinenMe makes that matches these towels.as a linen textile addict, my cotton towels were in shreds. I was going to make towels from some bolts of linen that I had, but then I saw these and decided to order 4. I am very pleased.the are expensive, but remember linen fiber outlasts cotton. better for the planet too.I bought the bath towels, 26x51. I think they are slightly too wide. They fall off my head when doing the wet hair just got out of the shower wrap a towel turban around my head thing. I adjusted by folding over the end by abut 10 inches, then doing the wet hair turban.they dry very well. and dry on the towel rack. no mustiness.I liked them so much on the first go that i ordered four more.will update in a year. You can call them guest towels all you like, but they're the size and shape of tea towels, and hanging tea towels in the toilet looks oddBut tea towels are useful so no big deal? No - they drop lint *everywhere*. These are such poor quality, it's a mystery anyone would produce them, let alone sell and buy them.I've thrown them in the garage rag pile, and even then not the good pile, but the 'wiping mud from boot' pile. For the same money you can proper Irish linen. Save yourself time and avoid this companyGot these for camping/travel as have been disappointed by microfiber and other supposed light weight travel towels. These are so much better - actually dry you rather than moving the water about your body! Plus could be used as a beach towel, throw, extra blanket, summer wrap, etc. so good multi use to minimise packing weight. They need a good wash before use, but otherwise great.Very disappointed in this product.I was looking for something versatile (2 in 1) with a good quality to replace my $7 cotton towel and the synthetic one which I used for more than 4 years for backpacking and camping trips. One of my friends was using the linen towel from "Outlier" and he is super happy with it. He suggested to get one for myself but I could not justify $100 USD price tag. After some research about what's linen I decided to give "LinenMe" a try.Once the item arrived, I started to use it as my daily towel and even took it for few camping trips. Here is my experience with it:Absorbency: is pretty ok, not as good as it was advertised, but overall for me this was just fine. Perhaps I just had very high expectations?Size: Ordered 26x51. I'm 5.6 and the size is great for traveling, backpacking or camping. Does not weight a lot and is packable.Fast drying: My gf has a regular cotton towel and I was using the linen one. I found NO difference. I actually found the regular cotton towel dries a bit faster. The issue with this towel started after about 2 months of use. My gf and I started to notice a very bad smell from this towel. Tried to wash it few times but the smell came back every time after only few days of use and nothing really helped. Something like this never happened to me before with neither cotton nor synthetic towels which I've heard can develop some odour over time. After a few attempts I had to switch back to my old cotton towel which luckily I did not throw away. These were exactly as I expected. I like the linen because they are very resistant to wear. The only small problem is the price. If they were a couple of dollars less expensive I would purchase more.
