Royal Designs has been in the lampshade business since 1993 with their multiple shade lines that exemplify handcrafted quality and value. Exterior Fabric: Hand Tailored Silk-Type Shantung (except Linen, Mouton, Burlap & Faux Rawhide fabrics) Interior Fabric: Off-White Softback Lining (Black, Burlap & Faux Rawhide fabrics have gold lining) Washer: Standard brass-finish spider fitter, use a finial to fasten shade. (Shades with 9”+ top diameter have a V-Notch fitter for use with a 6” or 8” reflector bowl)Trim: Top and bottom trim (single or double) with vertical piping Frame: Heavy grade rust resistant metal frame Bulb: Suggested maximum wattage is 150-watt for most sizes Height is measured by slant height from top to bottom of the lampshades front face Please measure your existing shade--a replacement harp may be needed for a proper fit or additional adjustment if changing height of shade.

Ordered two lampshades from Royal Lampshades but when they arrived one looked like the picture, one was completely different. Returned the one that didn't resemble the one pictured. but they were out of stock so could not get a replacement. Ended up returning the other one. Had to order two completely different shades but noticed one had a stain or defect in the material. Due to the price of the shade I was not willing to accept it. Even though it was not prime, Royal Lampshades did approve and paid the shipping to return and sent a replacement immediately. The whole process was a hassle but I am happy now.
