Ease of use. Looks great. And definitely totally block light from coming in.I had purchased Linen shades before, but this was the first time I got the blackout type. I really like them as it blocks the street light that shines right in the eyes at night. Easy to put up and fit great.These blinds were on the money perfect for stated dimensions as delivered and as a result fit like a glove for the window they were purchased for. They are truly blackout and do an excellent job of insulating from the sun's heat. They are place in a window facing north and are exposed to direct sunlight for a large portion of the day. Since I have ancient windows I can't be bothered to replace these have been a nice demonstrator of how much my heating and cooling situation could be improved if I actually spent the money... I might just sooner vs later in no small part because of these blinds clearly demonstrating the heat transferBack on track they pull down and go up evenly every time no matter the rate of speed. They are consistent in return speed but not particularly quick; it takes a consistent minimum of about 5 seconds from full extension to fully closed. Going slower than this is no problem and they always bunch up nice and tight at the top and never droop.One star docked (almost, I changed my mind but be warned) for two fasteners torquing off during installation into EXISTING, clean holes in the window framing. They torqued off at the bottom of the screw head with plenty left for me to grab onto with pliers so it was tedious but easy enough to resolve. I simply reused the old screws to replace what must have been a fluke bad batch of screws from the supplier. Two in a box makes me quite wary about the supplier in general.Easy to install and move up/down. Nice fit for the window. I am happy with these blinds.I bought these for the whole house, the blackout version for bedrooms, and light filtering for public rooms and bathrooms. Man they are awesome! They are measured precisely. The blackout is the best blackout I have ever seen, and the light filtering are perfect for privacy but allowing natural light into the room.couldn't be more pleased.the pricing is also very fair, and the installation is very easy. Since I was doing so many, I made a template out of a sticky note for where to drill the holes. This ensured all of my blinds are perfectly aligned (I did interior mount on all of them) so they are flush with the front of the window opening. They look great!The cordless feature is perfect for our cats, they haven't done any damage to the blinds yet (we've had them installed about a week). Great product, would purchase again in a heartbeat.I'm really impressed with these. Custom cut, they fit really well. They were stupidly easy to install, and the work just like you'd expect. Being cordless is a really nice design, they just move up and down and stay wherever you put them. They block all the light, but light does creep around around the sides, which is to be expected. They are pricey, but I have no regrets about purchasing these.Look and perform great! We have had them up for over 6 months with no issue. Surprise bonus is they insulate as well. I put my hand under them when closed and the air was far colder than the room. (I am talking Minnesota winter)I installed them myself (girl power)! And with careful measurements they can be perfect. I love that I can have complete privacy, but also open them up all the way so I don't lose any square footage on my beautiful, big windows. So far so good, I've had mine up for a couple of months now with no issues.
